The Promotional Fitness Examination

Despite its name, the Promotional Fitness Exam (PFE) has nothing to do with your physical fitness. The PFE is an exam that you take on your knowledge of the ranks and their titles. For the rank of Private First Class, only the enlisted ranks are required for the PFE. After Private First Class however, the officer's ranks are also included.

The Following are the ranks of the Junior Army. General is the highest ranking. Ranks that are underlined are Officers.
